As Phi and I stepped out of the AB Room, I could see the others running toward the projection, shoving and pushing to get closer.

It looked like there had been some sort of argument between K, Clover, and Tenmyouji, although whatever it was seemed to have resolved itself amicably.

*The bracelets would only unlock under two conditions: if you left the building, or if your heart stopped.
*If your BP hit 0, the needles in your bracelet would activate, killing you.

菲爱：大家分头行动。留下5分钟还有将近半个小时……那么，我们在还剩5分钟的时候在彩色门前面碰头。有人反对吗？

There were none. After some nods and mumbling, they split up and moved off to investigate. I was the only person who stayed behind.

Sigma: Damn... How the hell did I end up here...? Why? Why me...? ... ...

Try as I might, I couldn't think of anything I'd done that could have landed me in Zero's game.
I hadn't pissed anyone off, at least not this bad, I didn't owe anybody money, and my family certainly wasn't rich—
If anyone was hoping to get a fat ransom payout for me, they were going to be very disappointed.
Obviously I wasn't some kind of genius, nor was I an Olympic athelete, and I certainly hadn't been chosen by God to fulfill some great purpose on His Earth. Well...
At least if I was, I didn't know it yet.

Anyway, I was just an ordinary college student. If there was a reason I'd been abducted and put in the Nonary Game, I sure couldn't see it.

Why was this happening to me? I thought back to what I'd been doing right before I was taken. The memories were still a little blurry, but they were there.

The moon was beautiful.
I'd just finished writing a paper due that day, and was heading to my car from the research building.
The parking lot was empty, and a bright moon cast sharp shadows across the chilly pavement.
The last time I'd looked at the clock, it had said it was 2 in the morning, which meant that today was Christmas Day.
So why was I at school, typing away feverishly on Christmas? There were three reasons.

月亮是那么的美。
那天我刚刚完成了我的论文，正走向我停在研究所前的汽车。
停车场空无一人，皎洁的月光拉长了我的影子侵入寂寥的人行道。
我最后一次看了看表，凌晨2点，已经是圣诞节了。
要问我为什么还在学校，与键盘作伴呢？有三个原因。

First: My home computer had suddenly decided to eat shit. When I hit the power button, I just got...nothing.
I didn't have the time to spend all night troubleshooting the stupid thing, so I headed back to campus to use one of the school machines.
第一个原因：我家中的电脑突然罢/工了。不管我怎么按电源按钮，它就是……没反应。
我不能还一整夜的功夫来检修这蠢货，所以我就返回校园借用学校的机器。

Second: The professor in charge of my research group was a Buddhist.
Christmas didn't appear to have any sort of significance to him, and part of me couldn't shake the thought that he was trying to make some kind of point.
第二个原因：我的研究小组的主管教授是一个佛教徒。
圣诞节对他来说好像没有任何意义，我用脚后跟都能想明白他不用过这个节。

Third: My girlfriend had broken up with me a week before. "I'm sorry. I don't think we should see each other anymore. Goodbye." All I'd got was that one, cold e-mail.
Try as I might, I couldn't even get in touch with her. Of course, that meant I wouldn't be attending the party we'd been planning on going to.
Somehow I didn't think drinking by myself around a bunch of happy couples would really be a good idea.
第三个原因：我的女朋友一周前和我分手了。“对不起。我觉得我们没有必要再见面了。再见。”她只留下了这封，绝情的电子邮件。
我使出了浑身解数，就是无法与她联系上。当然，我一个人就无法咱家聚会了本来是打算我们两人一起去的。
独自一人在一群情侣中间喝醉可不是什么好主意。

At any rate, I'd stayed up all night to finish my paper, and e-mailed it off to my professor before the sun began to rise. As I walked across the parking lot, I felt...light.
Perhaps it was the relief of finishing my paper, or perhaps it was the five energy drinks I'd chugged to stay awake. Perhaps it was both.
不管怎样，我熬了一夜完成了我的论文，在太阳升起以前就邮给了我的教授。当我穿过停车场的时候，我感觉……一身轻松。
可能是因为我完成了论文，也可能是一口气喝了5瓶能量饮料劲太大了。还可能两个原因都有。

I slid into my car, and stuck the key into the ignition after only two tries. I twisted the key. ...Nothing happened.
我钻进我的车里，插入钥匙试图发动汽车。我转动钥匙，试了两次。……没有反应。

Sigma: Huh?
西格玛：嗯？

I jiggled the key in the slot and tried again. ...And again. ...And again. On the fifth try, the engine made an odd creaking noise, like metal on metal, and fell silent.
我晃了晃钥匙槽里的钥匙又试了一次。……又一次。……又一次。到第15次的时候，发动机发出了一声奇怪的响动，像是金属撞击，随即又是一片安静。

Sigma: Goddamnit! You stupid piece of shit!
西格玛：该死！你这堆废铁！

I screamed and pounded on the steering wheel, but nothing worked. The console was about to get a visit from my fist when—
我尖叫着并拍打方向盘，可惜没用。汽车用沉默回了我一记重拳——

Sigma: ...Huh? Wh-What?! What the hell is this!? Why is my car smoking!?
西格玛：……嗯？什么啊-啊？！这他妈是怎么回事！？我的车怎么会冒烟！？

I clawed at the door, and for a moment I thought that it was just my panic and lack of sleep that were keeping me from opening it. It wasn't long before I realized the truth.
我抓住门把手，一时间可能由于惊慌也可能由于缺觉我没能把车门打开。但很快我意识到门开不开了。

Sigma: Shit! Open, goddamnit!
西格玛：妈的！开开呀，天杀的！

What was going on?
My mind was racing, trying desperately to puzzle out what was happening through a haze of fear and caffeine-fueled neuron misfires. That was when I saw it.
Just a glimpse in the rear view mirror, but I was certain: There was someone behind my car. I spun around as fast as a very tired college student sitting in a car can...
到底发生了什么？
我的头脑飞速运转，拼命地想要弄清楚这可怕的烟雾是从哪漏出来的但在咖啡因的刺激下整个人无法冷静。就在这时我看见了它。
就在我一瞥后视镜的时候，我可以肯定：有人在我车的后面。我以最快的速度转过身去，这是我这个被困在车里的疲倦的大学生唯一能做的事情了……

Sigma: Wh-Who's there!?
西格玛：谁-谁呢！？

My vision started to swim as the smoke filled the car. The more of it I inhaled, the heavier my body felt, and I could already feel the world starting to go dark.
我的视线开始模糊浓烟充满驾驶室。我吸进肺里的毒气太多了，我感到身体越来越沉，周围越来越暗。
The last of my strength failed, and I collapsed sideways into the passenger seat. My eyes slowly drooped closed...
我用尽了最后的一丝力气，然后就瘫倒座椅的一侧。我的眼睛再也睁不开了……

When they opened again, I was in the AB Room with Phi.
等我再一次睁开眼睛的时候，我已经在AB室里了周围只有菲爱。

Sigma: Why is this happening to me...?
西格玛：为什么会发生在我身上……？

I spent a few minutes wallowing in misery. I figured I deserved at least a little self-pity. But even/knew that brooding and whining wasn't going to get me anywhere.
Like K had said, we needed to at least try and find another way out. So I shook my head, stood up straight, and headed off.
我用了几分钟打理了一下自己的痛苦。我发现自己有点顾影自怜了。但即使/明明知道这样冥想和发牢骚无济于事。
就像K说的，我们需要另寻出路。所以我抖擞了一下精神，挺了挺胸膛，去追赶其他人了。

这三个选项对应的是三段剧情，就是主角要去看看大伙的调查情况。不分先后全都要看的，所以不必纠结顺序。
